A few days ago, while slowing down i noticed a scraping noise, corresponding to the speed of the wheel. it sounds like its coming from the right rear. i wasnt sure what it was, today it started making the noise while accelerating too, no noise while driving and not under a load. it would also go away if i pushed in the clutch. I think it must be the outer CV joint. i cant figure out what else it would be. question is, can it be lubed in some way, since its a dry scraping noise or am i going to have to have it replaced. ? are there 4 of them, and should they all be replaced or lubed ? TIA
