Hi William, Luk is a quality product, they may be the OEM for lots of VW drivetrain components. I installed their regular clutch kit in a Syncro( NOT the "heavy duty" kit for $100.00 more)and it worked fine! Understand that the Syncro was driven "normally" and never off-road.
