I've done that very thing. It honestly was not a hard thing to do. Doing the wiring harness is a little confusing, but there are now several very good web-pages detailing the proceedure. I've put up some pages myself, trying to provide step-by-step instructions on the whole process, available for viewing here: http://www.tomcullen.org/Vehicles/Vanagon/vanagon_project.htm (and one of these days I'll get around to finishing it) Engine swap completed in mid-October, this year. 4,000 miles on conversion, no problems at all. Really appreciate the extra power. Lots of great info and support on the subaruvanagon yahoo group. -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Clay Moore Sent: Tuesday, December 10, 2002 12:44 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: anyone on the list done a subaru engine install with KEP's kit If anyone on the list has done this conversion, i'd like to hear about your experience doing it and how you like it. TIA
