John,
    Are we taliking left or right side?   I currently
have the same problem.   Took the pushrod cover off
and could see the source.   I am wondering if
retorquing the head might solve the problem.   Perhaps
it is a winter thing like the birds flying south.  If
so I think our wallets will be going south with the
birds.
