I know Gerry strips attachments but this was embedded code.  To cause a
problem a mail tool must convert the code back to binary and then run it
(unfortunately, some mail software will do just that without asking),
unless an A/V program catches it first.  I use Pegasus which is inherently
pretty immune.  I'm sure there are others who can comment more
intelligently.
