Brad, I'm coming up on 100,000 miles on my automatic transmission. Never a problem except for the time the mechanic over-filled it. It started slipping but as soon as I checked the fluid I saw the problem. That was about 50,000 miles ago and not a problem since--other than it robs me of some of the precious few HP. I have heard of these being used in a few high powered dune buggies >etc so i am assuming they must be a pretty robust unit. How are they to drive (thinking up the hills) and are they reliable?
