Is there a power difference in the various systems?

I would trade some longevity for some power, particularly if it was cheaper
to buy.

quality. They work, but i had to do a little work to eliminate rubbing and
rattling. Basically, the stock pipes are some fancy silica steel alloy and
the S+S jobbers are plain mild steel. Not to mention the serious reefing
mine took to install, my guess is that they won't last long. They are
relatively cheap, though. Mild rust is showing after a year in sunny cali.

about them at the time), and then think about stock.
