You might try soaking the area with Autotransmission leak sealant as this
softens and swells O-rings of normal materials.   I think brake fluid may do
the same thing.

I have done this same job after dousing the area with Marvel Mystery oil.

A left handed easy-out may screw into the injector remains to grab it enough
to pull on it again.
