May I direct your attention to pps 24.35 and .36? Illustrations 24-150 and 24-151... Are they depicting the same connector in both illustrations? If they are, then I was on the correct connector when I introduced my short. In fact, in 24-151, it appears they are doing basically the same thing I did. So why the burned insulation?
