My daughters' van has an intermittant starting problem. It will turn over and start, but will not idle. She can't take her foot off the gas until it's warmed up for about fifteen minutes. Her foot's too small to do the gas-and-brake thing. It won't do it for our mechanic, so he can't help. I'm thinking about shotgunning a part or two to find out what is causing it. Does this sound like an idle stabilizer problem? I can swap with my '87 if it's deemed to be a likely cause. Thanks for help, Tom Salicos '87 Westy Syncro
