Larry, Looks interesting, especially the ease of use. You could cut your water hose in half and add connectors in the middle if you're worried about accidentally breaking the city water connector (due to the rigid nature of the filter). They claim 0.4 microns, and for some reason, I thought viruses were down to .3 and below. But it's been a while. As per my earlier comments, I think you'd want to carry backups, because this sounds like a filter, despite what they say. tx, bmc :) Ben McCafferty ben@volkscafe.com Volks Cafe 1823 Soquel Avenue Santa Cruz, CA 95062 831-426-1244 http://www.volkscafe.com > From: "Larry Chase" <lchase@attglobal.net> > Reply-To: <lchase@attglobal.net> > Date: Wed, 1 Jan 2003 17:44:48 -0700 > To: <VWVANFULLTIMERS@yahoogroups.com>, <vanagon@yahoogroups.com>, > "wetwesties@yahoogroups." <wetwesties@yahoogroups.com>, > <vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com>, <Syncro@yahoogroups.com>, > <ev_update@yahoogroups.com> > Subject: [WetWesties] Water Purifiers - Possible Solution > > > Would those brighter than I please take a look at this water treatment > Apprach and let me know what you think. > > Clipping: > > "RV" Trav-L-PureR Water Purifiers > > chemical free water purifiers - ideal for "Pop Up" Campers > looking for a purifier for larger RVs with water storage tanks - click > here > "RV" Trav-L-Pure water purifier is the only "outside hookup" > chemical-free purification system, specifically designed for "Pop Up" > campers (& smaller RV's ) that is certified to EPA Guide Standard for > Microbiological Purifiers > against bacteria, cysts, and viruses. > No hold time, electricity, chemicals or double pumping required! > "RV" Trav-L-Pure Water Purifier offers bottled water quality for great > tasting water for drinking and cooking needs.
