Search out Back Packing on the Internet. You'll find many sources for
water filtration systems that pack snugly into a cigar box.
Don't ever think stream water is safe to drink.
Don't trust the State Parks or any park water supply even if its on city
water.
Even water from underground springs has organisms in it that can render
you helpless within 24 hours without medical action.
I drink only bottled water while camping .............. it's just cheap
insurance.
