Howdy From Texas,

In a few months I hope to install a 3.2 liter Porsche engine in my '87 GL. I
have been planning for about 9 months now, and I am just ironing out some of
the final plans.

I am at the point I need to make some decisions about the transmission. It
looks like I will be using a Vanagon 4-speed 'box. I am interested in
finding out what gears other folks are using in their Vanagons with
conversion engines. I guess I am particularly interested in hearing what the
Subaru crowd have to say, but I will take input from anyone.
