This obviously is going to wind up as a pissing contest so I would
suggest that until the last bell is sounded that you start and keep
current every action and every contact by name of those you deal with or
talk to. Record in writing what was said, promised, denied, committed,
by whom, the date, the time, etc. Then if it winds up in small claims,
you have an accurate record. Be sure you use a little notebook in which
the pages are permanently affixed. This becomes a day to day, hour by
hour log or diary of events, and they are hard to contest in court even
if the opposing party attempts to introduce other evidence.

My 2 cents.
