Just installed a new Marshall 290 regulator as the old one was disentegrating. I also got the plastic covers for it from Camping World. They snap right on, but the screen covered opening on the regulator is exposed and facing the front of the van and it looks as though debris from the left front tire could find it's way in. Should this screen be protected from a direct assault of mud etc.? Anybody encountered this situation?
