What can be done to replace a missing wing window latch tension pin
other than making a trip to the junk yard and picking up a whole neused
window?

I speak of the tiny pin that applies the tension needed to hold the wing
vent window latch securely, thus reducing, and hopefully eliminating,
whistling.  Anybody BTDT?
