Hi Tom, Not sure if it's what you seek, but page 19.2 in my manual shows "cooling fan with pulley" and the bolts bet 15 ft lb/20 nm. They don't look like tri-squares, though, more like typical hex bolts, and only three of them. The allen bolts that hold the water pump pulley to the water pump take the same torque, and I wonder if they aren't very similar? tx, bmc :) Ben McCafferty ben@volkscafe.com Volks Cafe 1823 Soquel Avenue Santa Cruz, CA 95062 831-426-1244 http://volkscafe.com > From: Tom Young <tomyoung1@ATTBI.COM> > Reply-To: Tom Young <tomyoung1@ATTBI.COM> > Date: Wed, 5 Feb 2003 13:23:00 -0800 > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: Need a torque value, please > > Hi all: > > I've separated the large cooling fan from the pulley it's attached to in > order to clean things up and paint the pulley.
