Like the feller says JP-4 is 'jet' fuel. Turns out to be a kerosene style stuff. The vehicle heater is a heat exchanger type that has a combustion chamber and a fan system. Much like the "space heaters" you can find on construction jobs. The ones I am familiar with mounted on the right fender of the M41,M37,m39 vehicles. They were 24V though. The one you have may be a 12v or selectable. A bit fuel hungry but very high BTU output. pensioner (USA Arctic Test Center, USA Northern Warfare Traning Center, Ft. Greely AK)
