I do not have a 2.1 Water, but FWIF, I have an AVP 2.0 Air-Cooled from The Bus Depot. Has about 3000 miles on it. Runs strong (well, as stong as 67HP can) and well, with only 2 (minor) issues: 1) one of the lifters sticks during the vans "winter rest" and takes a few miles to quiet down (though is quiet for the rest of the year) and 2) she uses a bit more oil that I would prefer. I expect the oil issue to go away as the miles on it build. ...JMM -- Justin M.
