We have the 1.9-->2.1l stoker in our '83.5 Westy. The only problem we're had in 45.000 miles is the front oil seal leaking (just in the last couple of months--gotta fix that sometime). I dealt with AVP directly, and they were very cooperative and took care of all problems (in our case we had the wrong water pump shipped initially). It still has great compression, noticeably better power, and only leaks in that one spot. (gotta fix that).
