Hi listers, I have a 1984 Vanagon 1.9L and there is inside that van a knob for an auxiliary gasoline heater. Under the dash left of the steering column there is a little box with a lever to reset the heater I guess. When I turn the knob to position 2 as explained in the owners manual my fan starts under the drivers seat but no heat comes out. In the manual they explain that there is two fuses behind the glove compartement and if one of these fuses is blown I might get air but no heat. I looked for these fuses behind the glove compartment and cant find it can anyone help me out with this. Thanks, New lister and new vanagon owner (1 week) l just love the little thing. Michel Bertin NB.: Does anyone has diagrams (electrical and mechanical) for this auxiliary that could be scanned and emailed to me?
