For the record, the US does purchase a large percentage of Iraqi oil exports, and has for years. Its no secret. Not hidden away. I don't know about Canada. Currently, California counts Iraq as its largest foreign source, accounting for 28 percent of imports. Right now, 8 percent of all CA oil comes from Iraq. http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-oil10feb10,0,6684467.story?coll=la-home- todays-times Philip Chidlaw > We don't get any oil from Iraq, and haven't for years.
