Glove Plus gloves are very inexpensive at the hardware store. Barring that, any of the orange-based cleaners with a bit of pumice do a fine job. You can use it while still in garage, then wipe dry with paper towels and keep working, or go in and wash the residue off with soap. Not as hard on the hands as lava, and more effective in my experience. tx, bmc :) Ben McCafferty ben@volkscafe.com Volks Cafe 1823 Soquel Avenue Santa Cruz, CA 95062 831-426-1244 http://volkscafe.com > From: Max Wellhouse <maxjoyce@IPA.NET> > Reply-To: Max Wellhouse <maxjoyce@IPA.NET> > Date: Thu, 13 Feb 2003 02:45:22 -0600 > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: NVC Cleaning thosae hands up!! > > I've not seen this thread in the 5+ years I've been on the list so here > goes: What do ya'll do to clean your hands and body up after a really > greasy day on under and around your vanagon?
