Talk to it. Warn it that if it doesn't shape up you will have to take further action. Say that if it continues to wander around looking at the world when the ignition is off,the battery will run down, and it will be really hungry. Confirm that future misbehaviour will result in an immediate appointment with a 12mm wrench and the disconnection of all power cables. If nothing else it will distract the people bothered by the wiper . The rear wiper on my '88 GL Auto Westy has a mind of it's own. It turns on, does the sweep, and then continues to sweep whenever the heck it wants to. It's very erratic and will continue until the ignition is turned off. I'm starting to get used to it, but I bet it drives the people behind me crazy. Any thoughts? I've owned quite a few English cars, and I find the Bosch electricals only slightly better than Lucas. This was mention a few years ago, but can't find the solution in the archives. Thanks, Mike Pedersen
