It's really easy. You won't need to bleed the system, unless you decide to flush and refill at the same time. Check page 19.11 of your Bentley--you basically have four bolts to remove, pop out the old one, replace with the new one and new o-ring, and bolt 'er back up. Doesn't take long at all. tx, bmc :) Ben McCafferty ben@volkscafe.com Volks Cafe 1823 Soquel Avenue Santa Cruz, CA 95062 831-426-1244 http://volkscafe.com > From: insyncro <insyncro@HOTMAIL.COM> > Organization: insyncro > Reply-To: insyncro <insyncro@HOTMAIL.COM> > Date: Mon, 24 Feb 2003 13:39:39 -0500 > To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM > Subject: thermostat install > > Hello, > > I will be replacing my thermostat in my 91 Syncro Westy, just looking > for any advice to help speed the process and reduce margin of error. > Will the system need to be bled or can the procedure be accomplished > without the need? > > > > Thanks > > > > dylan
