Long life! Lower grade of gas. Have you tried advancing your timing? Try
running 5 BTDC instead of 5ATDC.

Subject: engine compression ratio '84
In my manual it says my '84 has a compression ration
of 7.3:1. This sounds really low. What are the
reasons and/or benefits of such a low compression
engine?
Thanks,
