Works for me. I agree, I just did the fronts on my camper and have done the fronts and rears on Vanagons, Busses and my 412 and never used a press, just a drift and a 3lb hammer. Throw the new races in the freezer for a couple of hours before installation, they go in easier. I built a makeshift press out of an old floor jack, unistrut and brackets to get a CV joint off an axle one time. I don't think I would try it on a lower ball joint however. ===== TJ Hannink Goldibox - 1987 Vanagon Camper, Wolfsburg Edition Winter Park, Florida http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wolfsburg_campers http://photos.yahoo.com/tjhannink [Vanagon] Album __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
