Either post a tip or leave it alone. If this an inference to my previous post regarding the alternator bracket; I would like to clarify: If you are making a statement that a part has a certain configuration that is supposedly repairing a problem and the description and supporting theory as to why it is fixing the problem is false, be prepared for me to call you out on it. > >2. I look critically at responses to engine conversion list questions that >are given by members with a commercial interest in engine conversion! In an effort to detach myself from any assumption that I have a "commercial interest" in engine conversions I would like to make it clear that although I do repair and modify VW's as a profession this does not mean that I drive a Chevy that is bone stock. I drive nothing but VW's. Not one of them is stock. I also have a vanagon. It is not stock either. I am putting together an engine for my van that will be superior to any kit available. I am not here to drum up business. I am here to offer advice and *hopefully* learn something.
