You know, all this angst kicked out by the Episode Dumb: Attack of the
Flames, has made me realize that there is some serious hostility and
balkanization going on in the Vanagon list.  We have Tiicos vs.
Everyone, RoadHaus vs. Sanity, Matthew Pollard vs. capitilization and of
course the biggy, the water people vs. the air heads.  If we don't
address it, we're going to wind up with a situation like in the, uh,
Balkans.

In short, I propose a war.  A knock down, drag out, camshaft to the head
war.  I volunteer to be Supremo Generalissimo von Wasserboxen
representing the water people.  I expect the air heads will be lead by
Sgt. Stan and his Howlin' Airmandos.  The winner will claim rightful
ownership of the list and, as the victor, be able to rewrite history
with such truths as "Sure my air-cooled is warm at night" or "Yep, my
2.1 sure is reliable."

Who's with me?!  We will overwhelm them with our superior cooling power!
  We will be able to just slightly pull ahead of them climbing hills!
Our feet will be just slightly warmer!  We will save precious energy
using our power locks and windows!  To battle!!!
