I have a rear hatch lock extension that permits the rear hatch to be locked while propped open an inch or so, allowing great flow-thru ventilation with the top popped up and the screen zipped open or just the skylight opened. One of the top three accessories a Westy owner could ever want. See my website for pics. Or try a more high tech solution from West Marine. Highly recommended by one of our seasonal listees, Phaedra Savage, this solar powered roof vent can be seen here: http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001 &langId=-1&catalogId=10001&productId=13740 According to Phaedra, the vent mounts very nicely into the existing Westy skylight. You can open the | skylight to let the hottest air out of the top, but where would the replacement | air come in if you didn't open your windows? Anyone?
