Could this be true?? I am poised to own a nice doublecab and here they are getting butchered??? I know there's already a lot of discussion on this in the archives, but I could never quite get a straight answer on it. To make these Vanagons comply with DOT what would be needed?? Change all the glass and lights?? If that's all, then I should think that it might be possible. Reinforce the door for side impact protection?? Or do they need us to crash them straight into an offset wall??? Vanagon funerals by the crash test dummy site... m On Monday, March 10, 2003, at 06:44 am, Tyler Trotman wrote: > A friend of mine has acquired the 3 doublecab vanagons and 1 high top > syncro > that Michael Papp tried to import and sell on ebay at the end of 2001. > The > problem is that the vans have no titles.
