 I have a 1985 crewcab with 72,000 kilometers and a canadian title. I bought it to do a TDI conversion. The body is in excellent shape and the only problem with the engine is that the overheat light comes on at ignition and stays on. It has never overheated. NO leaks. I'm going to convert my 90 carat instead a more pratical kid hauler. I also picked up a 83 7 passenger aircooled in a trade for my 80 Westy I would take a reasonable offer over $1000.00 it is in good shape and seems to run well. Not much history. Does have a gasoline heater. I'm located in the Washington DC area. I would like $7000 for the crewcab and I can send pictures on request. I have the info to get a Maryland title. To many projects, need time for my sons bugeye sprite or there will be hell to pay.
