OK - I admit I am new to vanagons -but- this is a first for me.  How do I
add oil to the thing?  There is what looks like an oil cap between the
distributor and alternator - however it won't seem to pull off or twist off.
Help???  Also I guess it might be a good idea for me to get an owners manual
and a workshop manual!  Does anyone have any extras for an 86 Syncro
Vanagon?  Or know of a good source?
