Wow- I guess GEX engines must have improved in the last ten years! My GEX blew at 47,000 in my 64 Bus. I never got 32 mpg except in my 62 Beetle. I have heard the aircooled Vanagons run lean- A Vanagon engine has to burn gas pretty lean to get that kind of mileage. No wonder they sink valves and burn pistons! A typo? Five speed trans? Or is it the Boogie-Woogie cloth? Has anyone heard of boogie -woogie cloth before? Is this a European option? As in "Ich tanze das boogie-woogie?" If you have the money, now you can drive the boogie-woogie @32 mpg. It's as green as the money you'll save on your gas bill. They'll be green with envy.
