I suspect Stan, that I have the "I now know why there's a bullet hole in the front of my van mode." I can pound on the turn signal switch, flick the high beams off and on, open and close the door at 65MPH, and even pound on the "oh sheet" pad in the middle of the steering wheel. None of them make the horn do nothin but some soft "I is dead" gurgle noise. Which mode of operation do y'all find best to fix first? tim in san jose > >You been pressing that bar on the steering wheel? >You need to flash your light dimmer switch and you'll see you also have a >horn. >There are also other horn operation combinations, I think you already >know about the turn signal mode. >I've also seen brake light mode, emergency flasher mode (for fake alarm >activation) and the very popular seat belt mode that honks until you >buckle up. >The most dangerous mode is the open door mode, it starts honking and you >must stop the van and open the door to get it to stop honking. >If the guy you pissed off with your honking doesn't jump out of his car >and get you before you can jump back in, buckle up, flick your dimmer >switch you can consider that 'it was a good day'. > >Stan Wilder > > > >On Fri, 21 Mar 2003 13:48:32 -0800 Aristotle Sagan ><killer_jupiter@HOTMAIL.COM> writes: > > These things have horns? > > > > I'll have to check it out. > > > > tim in san jose > > > > > > _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
