On my '91 Carat, the brakes are stopping fine, but I notice when I'm stopped
at a light with my foot on the peddle, it slowly starts to fall, allowing the
van to move forward slightly.  If I pump the peddle just once, it's fine
again, but then again slowly falls.

Is this a master cylinder going bad or what?  Anybody ever have this symptom?
 If it is the master c, (sounds like a rapper), any opinions on original part
versus Brazilian VW part?  I think Bus Depot, for example, sells both.
