I am about to replace the horn contact rings in my '83 Vanagon and noticed that the Bentley manual calls for 36 ft-lb of torque on the nut holding the steering wheel on. I don't have a torque wrench and was wondering how important it is to tighten it that exactly. I prefer to not have it pop off in my lap while driving :) Any advice appreciated! Thanks! Marc
