Hi List,

I replaced my '90 2.1L auto trans oil cooler and the new cooler leaks ATF
where the cooler mates to the transmission case. The old cooler had no
gasket or sealant at the mating surface so I installed the new cooler in the
same way. There are flat machine surfaces where the cooler mates to the
trans case but they leak ATF. If anyone knows how to eliminate this leakage
please reply. I hope to finish this cooler job tomorrow so please reply
soon.
