I use the plastic cover that comes on a car wax can.  Cheaper than the
    real thing .... doesn't blow away at highway speeds 

  what brand of wax?    also i seem to remember someone saying that they used a Tupperware or Rubbermade lid and it worked well..or a small plastic pie pan...

I don't remember the brand of the one that started out a bit large.  The one that's a bit small and requires the wire to make it snug is Turtle Wax.
