Check amazon.com, they sell them used quite often in good shape. This list is great. So, now onto other stuff... -Where should I go to get a manual for an 85 Vanagon? There's no Chilton or Haynes manual for it, just the factory one. And that is EXPENSIVE! The best price I've found new is $65, and I've seen them on Ebay for less, but they get bid up pretty close, and when you add in shipping, it's not really worth it for a new one. If anyone knows a place to pick one up cheap (or has one for sale) I'd greatly appreciate it. Either online/mail order/in the Portland, OR area -Since I don't have a manual yet, I was wondering what the sparkplug gap specs are for 85 vanagons? -Also, can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is? Can't seem to find it. -And finally, not of the utmost importance, but I'm kind of interested, does anyone else have issues shifting into second on manual trannys when their vanagon is cold? Mine kind of grinds a bit sometimes if I hit it wrong. Thanks! Hope to hear from you all soon! .
