I've done it and have all the parts you need to do it. Very easy, except for
pulling the motor out of the door, PITA. pull out the old and put in the
new, swap out door pannels, and your done. Nothing special, manual raiser
bolts right in.

non-functioning power window regulators, motors and switches from my 87 GL
front doors, and replacing them with the usually functioning manual window
levers and cranks from my 86 GL parts van. I figure it will be somewhat of
a pain and, before I waste too much time on this project, has anyone on this
list successfully performed this transplant? I checked out the Archives
and, although others have asked the same question, I didn't find any message
stating they had successfully done it. I am left with the impression that
it might be fairly straightforward, the only problem being the holes left in
the panels from the switches. Anyway, any advice would be appreciated.
