if you do a search for "vanagon" in the past month or so on ebay baywindows
and splitties appear too. didnt used to be like this, just started happening
recently. i dont mind, i have been halfheartedly looking for another delux
micro..   Anyway Te---  uh, i mean Fredrich Heistenburg wouldnt have posted
it if it wasnt cool and of some interest.. Frederich may have thought it was
interesting to all of us since you dont just see these things in "die windage
stadt" (Fred's place of birth)  .. I saw a mid 60's Chevy Greenbriar
"Sportsmobile" (aircooled flat 6) poptop camper in a local junkyard last
fall.. the camper was solid, from cali, w/ orig paint.  complete w/ more
schtuff than a westy inside..  even had what looked to be a step to get up
into the poptop. Frederich would have liked that .  anyway, the thing prolly
only needed minor engine work, but the PO couldnt be bothered or passed away.
 this woulda looked cool lowered w/ some Cragar mags on it :<)
