God forbid I say this but Honda's brass exhaust nuts are the least difficult
to remove of any I have ever encountered and they have a built on washer.

If you go to VW for the parts ask for the five cyl. studs and nuts they also
have a really heavy washer. Of course they cost more but if you plan on
taking back apart it's worth it.
