You need your fog lights hooked up through a relay.
My fog lights have one high powered driving light and one fog light, my
switch is three position. Off, On driving light, on Fog light never both
at the same time. Good luck wiring the switch and relay without a wiring
diagrams, took me two hours at my kitchen table to get it right.
