There is battery terminal cleaner that wiil clean any electrcal
connections--
You can get at any parts store.

Subject: Cleaning corroded connectors
Lots of my various electrical connectors are rusting up or gathering
gunk inside. The male end is easy to sand down for cleaning, however
sometimes the female ends are a bit more difficult to reach. Does anyone
have good tricks for keeping these connections as clean as possible?
