I don't know if the arguement for resetting only when stopped has merit
or not .... but ... I've had my '84 since '91 and have been resetting it
on the fly since I got it.  I haven't had any problems yet.

I won't call what I've been doing "Experience" ... 'cause experience is
what you get when you were expecting something else.
