My '91 Carat let me down this morning.  All was fine till I went to exit the Interstate and the van would not come out of 4 th gear.   The gearlever just wont budge.   It has not shown any signs of problems before.  Clutch works fine.  Same problem with or without engine running.
Could this be the infamous 3-4 slider problem ?
I thought this was cleared up by '91 model ?

The van is presently parked close to the intersection till after work....bummer.
