........ It appears that some years more energy saving lights were used...... And it is confusing. My '90 has the three bulb incandescent same as my '85 had, but I've seen as early as '87's with the fluorescent fixture. Either VW was inconsistent in mounting fluorescent vs. incandescent or a lot of PO's have retrofitted. Anyone know if there was and 'official' change over in a particular year?
