I hate replying to my own messages... but someone pointed out that the VW
oil pressure switch can not sense over-pressure.  For some reason I recall
seeing somewhere that it did...  but perhaps I'm confussing it with
something else... Anyone want to chime in with an "authoritative" yes/no on
this?
