Ed, my man, you need whatever is specified on the tire information sticker of
your van.  I never looked at one on a Westy, but I would feel confident in
saying that the *P*185 *70*R14 size is not one of the specified sizes.  On my
vans I have always used a 185R14, Load Range C or D as VW expected me to use.
